We’re passionate jewelers, crafting and fixing fine things in a lovely brick and mortar shop in downtown Ann Arbor. We are a family owned and operated full service jeweler since 1974. We specialize in on-site custom jewelry design and production, repair, and appraisal. Alongside our own work, our shop features jewelry made by local artists, exclusive national designers, and fair trade international artisans. 

Since our beginning, we’ve been committed to carrying jewelry made from locally recycled eco-metals, along with conflict-free diamonds and ethically mined gemstones. We’ve added more environmentally-friendly metals and lab-grown gems over the years to give you more options for any budget. Our expertise in alternative jewelry metals lets us offer affordable, unique, guilt-free heirloom jewelry. 

Like our customers, we draw inspiration from nature, history, art, architecture, lore, love, mineralogy, music, and beyond. One heirloom at a time, through side-by-side sketching and hand-selecting gems, Abra’s custom design portfolio has expanded to incorporate dozens of plant species, diverse cultural symbols, and historical design elements from ancient Egyptian Mut to Victorian England Tea Roses. We've continued to learn and grow, always working closely with customers, miners, and refiners to create meaningful, practical pieces that will last forever.
