Jewelers can apply for various scholarships throughout the year. JA's Scholarship Program—exclusive to members—covers education from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), Diamond Council of America (DCA), the American Gem Society (AGS) and Jewelers of America's own Bench Certification.Additionally, the Seymour & Evelyn Holtzman Bench Scholarship is available to students enrolled in jewelry or metalsmithing programs at an accredited college, university, or training school, aiming to bring new talent to the industry.
