Construction initially began on the Manchester, NH store in 2002, and in 2003, the store was officially opened under then owners Jeff and Kathy Corey. Since then, Day’s Jewelers’ first New Hampshire location has seen several updates over its twenty-plus years of operation, including the addition of a vibrant kids’ play area. However, none of these updates have been as extensive as the remodel currently underway.
Store manager Paul Baker and office manager Cadence Andrick say, “The team is incredibly excited to offer a fabulous new store [to] serve our customers in comfort and luxury. The new store will empower us to raise the bar by offering a luxurious setting in which to show our already superior lines of jewelry, impacting not only ourselves but also our town and local communities.
The improved space will allow us to expand our offerings to our local partners (i.e., Girl Scouts, Chamber of Commerce, CASA) in a relaxed upscale environment enabling expanded opportunities for both us and the community.”
Joe Corey, the current president of Day’s Jewelers, served as the manager of the Manchester store from 2012 to 2017. Joe says “I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this remodel. Having served as the store manager in our Manchester location for several years, this particular project had special meaning. I look forward to continued years of growth and success within the community.”
Jewett Construction began the remodel project on February 15th, 2024. New features include a private diamond viewing room, a relaxing customer lounge and café area, a fresh take on the kids’ play area, and revitalized workspaces for Day’s employees.
The grand re-opening event is scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, at 3pm at the newly remodeled store. The exclusive event will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a raffle drawing with all proceeds to benefit CASA of New Hampshire.
