Moeller II, President & Director of Sales of R.F. Moeller Jeweler in St. Paul, MN, as Board Chair. He succeeds Holly Wesche of Wesche Jewelers in Melbourne, FL. Moeller was elected on July 22, 2021, at Jewelers of America’s Board meeting that also welcomed five new Directors.

New York, NY – Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, has announced registration has opened for their third annual Jewelers of America National Convention, an education-focused executive forum open to jewelry professionals, that will be held virtually on July 19 and 20, 2021. The Convention – with the theme “Coming into Focus” – is free for all Jewelers of America Members to attend and will feature many sessions designed to offer education for everyone in the jewelry, gem and watch industry.

GEM Awards, the industry’s premier awards gala that honors individuals and brands whose work raises the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches, will take place virtually on Thursday, July 15, 2021. The JA Virtual National Convention, an education-focused executive forum open to Jewelers of America members and their staff, will take place on July 19 and 20, 2021.

The survey, deployed in the wake of the protests for racial justice, was created by the organizations to better understand the experiences of black professionals in the fine jewelry industry as well as learn about inclusion policies and experiences related to racial discrimination.
